Author Instructions for Abstract Submission

Submission Deadline: 9th September, 2011

1. Abstracts are limited to 2000 characters (including spaces), including title, author(s), affiliation(s), and body text.
2. Tables and figures are accepted.
3. Title must be bolded & in Title Case (i.e. Actinin-4 Expression in Primary and Metastasised...)
4. Authors' names must begin on a new line after the title and formatted either first and/or middle initial followed by last name (i.e. A. Saluja or A.S. Saluja)
5. Affiliations must be italicized and immediately follow the authors. Affiliations need to be formatted Department/Division, Institution, City, State/Country (i.e. Pancreatic Research Group, University of New South Wales, Sydney, Australia).
6. To designate multiple affiliations, use superscripted numbers after an author's name (i.e. A. Saluja, 1C. Logsdon,2) and before the affiliation separated by a semicolon (i.e. 1Department of Surgery, University of Minnesota, Minneapolis, MN; 2Department of Cancer Biology, University of Texas, M.D. Anderson Cancer Center, Houston, TX.)
7. Abstract body text must begin on a new line after affiliations. Any subheadings (i.e. Aim, Background, Methods, Results, Discussion, Conclusion) must be bolded followed by a colon (i.e. Introduction:).
8. Do not include references. Any references included will be removed.
9. Name your file with the presenting Author's last name_APC Abstract (e.g. Phillips_APC Abstract) and submit as a word document to Dr Phoebe Phillips: info@pancreas.org.au before 5pm on the 9th of September, 2011.
10. If you wish to have your abstract published in Pancreatology there will be a $20 abstract submission fee (please tick appropriate box on Registration form).
